Original Art and Personal Commissions
Our Services
Kristine Mkrtchyan offers original acrylic paintings, drawings, works on paper, and custom commissions for clients seeking art with personal meaning. Her ideas may begin with something observed in everyday life, a natural form, a geometric arrangement, an abstract thought, a preferred color direction, or an emotion the finished piece should express.
Original artwork is suited to homeowners, collectors, offices, designers, and anyone who wants a distinctive piece that creates calm, joy, inspiration, wonder, or reflection. Nature and geometric shapes are recurring interests in Kristine’s work, and acrylic is her preferred painting medium. Available pieces may be considered for living rooms, offices, studios, and other interior spaces. Current availability, dimensions, presentation, and delivery details should be confirmed before purchase.
Custom commissions may be created as a drawing or painting. Each client is approached individually. Consultations can take place by email, text, video call, or, for local clients, in person. The conversation covers the desired subject, colors, canvas or paper format, mood, approximate size, placement, and practical needs. Kristine then sketches the idea before beginning the final artwork.
Commission requests may include portraits, personal concepts, meaningful gifts, or artwork designed for a particular room. Most paintings take from one day to one week, depending on intricacy, inspiration, and the artist’s schedule. Project timing, price, revisions, framing, shipping, and final payment should be agreed upon before work begins.
01.Original Paintings
Kristine’s original acrylic paintings develop from nature, geometric shapes, everyday observations, and abstract ideas. She begins with a sketch, selects a color direction, and builds each composition to carry a distinct emotional tone, from calm and joy to inspiration, wonder, strength, or quiet reflection.
02.Works on Paper
Works on paper can include drawings, sketches, studies, and custom concepts developed through direct mark-making. These pieces may stand alone or help shape a larger commission, beginning with an idea and translating it into a clear, expressive visual direction for the viewer.
03.Custom Art Commissions
Kristine accepts a broad range of custom drawing and painting ideas. Every customer is different, so the process begins by discussing what the client specifically wants, then sketching a direction and choosing colors, canvas, or paper together before the final artwork begins.
04.Portrait Commissions
Portrait requests can be discussed within Kristine’s open custom commission process. A portrait may be planned as a painting on canvas or as a drawing on paper, with subject, colors, mood, size, and presentation carefully agreed together before the final artwork begins.
05.Personalized Gift Artwork
A custom drawing or painting can become a personal gift shaped around the recipient, occasion, favorite colors, meaningful subject, or shared story. Kristine works collaboratively to sketch the idea and create artwork intended to feel thoughtful, distinctive, emotionally meaningful, and lasting.
06.Fine Art for Interiors
Original or commissioned artwork can bring personality and emotion to homes, offices, studios, and other interiors. Kristine aims to create pieces viewers feel proud to display because the image, colors, atmosphere, or emotional mood speaks to them personally every day.
